Adam Thoma, Safety – Class of 2015
Plant Safety Coordinator, Steel Dynamics, Inc.
Adam began as a safety intern with Steel Dynamics in May 2015 and transitioned to a Plant Safety Coordinator full-time role in August 2015. During his time at Indiana University, he was a member of Phi Sigma Theta Honor Society and the IU American Society of Safety Engineers. His interests include Heavy-Industrial, Steel, and Manufacturing Safety; Ergonomics; Industrial Hygiene; Health & Wellness Activities.
Courtney Stewart, MPH – Class of 2008
Health & Human Sciences Extension Education, Monroe County Purdue Extension
Since completing her MPH at IUSPH, Courtney has held three positions in the public health field; one in substance abuse and prevention, the second with Area 10 Agency on Aging and her third with the Purdue Extension. Courtney loves working in the field of Public Health and connecting the community to resources and information to improve the quality of people’s lives.
Megan Doody, Community Health, Class of 2016
START Team Member, Cook Medical
After graduating with a B.S. in Community Health and minor in Nutrition Science, Megan set out to find a role that combines her education in health sciences and interest in business to pursue a career in healthcare sales. As a member of the START Team at Cook Medical, Megan is able to use her background in health sciences when speaking with medical clients. She is now a sales associate for Cook Medical’s business unit, Peripheral Intervention.
