IU Basketball is looking phenomenal.
I wanted to give you a quick update on one of your top students. Last year, Brian and I came to Bloomington to recruit the best talent in the country. We came out of our first trip to IU with a lot of success and hired Zach Mekler, Nick Giella and Cole Morris. All three have thrived in their roles thus far but one in particular has gone above and beyond the call of duty and was recently promoted.
Zach Mekler was promoted on December 1, 2016 to our Account Executive, Group Sales team. In his time on my staff, he became one of the best leaders I have ever had. He took this industry by storm with his work ethic, determination and overall drive! There is no doubt in my mind that he will thrive in his new role and develop into a top executive down the line.
I thought you should know that you have helped prepare him for this role and his success starts with the education that he received.
