Tell us about your organization?
Pacers Sports & Entertainment Owned by Herbert Simon, chairmen of Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group, PS&E is one of Indiana’s largest entertainment industry companies with more than 200 full-time employees. Additionally, there is the Pacers Foundation which was founded in 1993, and it’s mission is to build collaborative initiatives to encourage Indiana’s youth in making winning life choices. To say PS&E is involved in helping the community is an understatement. PS&E conducts more than 35 annual community betterment programs and events each year. This is one of the best places to work in Indiana!
What is your educational background, career path, and current position?
Director of Consumer Sales & Service. I attended the University of Kentucky. After college I came to a networking event here with the Pacers where I landed my first job in sports as a Consumer Sales Executive with the team. From there I have worked my way up to become the Director of the department I started in 5 years ago.

What competencies, skills, qualifications do you seek in your candidates?
We are working to develop the best ticket sales department in all of sports. Therefore, we will be very selective in who we add to our team. We’re looking for candidates who are competitive, coachable, detail oriented, and who have the desire to climb to the top of the industry. Are you ready to be our next All-Star?
What piece of career advice do you have for current students?
Do everything the application ask you to do. Cover letter and all to the best of your ability. Your resume and cover letter get about 10 seconds to impress the person hiring for these positions.
