Hands in Autism Student & Staff Positions

HANDS in Autism® is currently seeking individuals interested in joining a progressive and energized interdisciplinary team with focus on building on strengths of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related disabilities towards achieving the optimal level of inclusion and success within their communities.

We seek individuals with particular interest and/or experience assessing, planning and providing for adolescents, transition-age youth (TAY) and adults and with relevant backgrounds such as education, psychology, and clinical social work.   Multiple staff and student positions have been designed to assist the Center’s role in providing intense behavioral support to these consumers as well as consultative support and training to families and providers servicing this population. Those interested must be willing to work across home, school, work, and other community settings, providing intensive behavioral services, consultation and training as well as serving as a liaison for both onsite (at the Center) and off-site (in community settings state-wide) coordination and delivery of these services. Contact Dr. Naomi Swiezy at nswiezy@iupui.edu
