September Career Ready Month

Career Readiness Description: 
Career readiness encompasses multiple competencies that have been identified as important to overall professional success. The competencies include a range of skills that are developed both inside and outside the classroom. Career readiness is the attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace (National Association of Colleges and Employers, 2016).
The key competencies for career readiness include:
Career Management, Professionalism/Work Ethic, Oral/Written Communication Skills, Teamwork/Collaboration, Leadership, Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Information Technology, Global/Intercultural Fluency.
