The DistinXion Internship Xperience has an available position for a Business Operations & Management Intern. The Business Operations & Management Intern will work closely with the DistinXion President to create meeting agendas, staff schedules, and progress reports for individual projects. This individual will develop and organize processes for individual teams, including operations, marketing, service, and missions. The intern will be responsible for leading and planning DistinXion service days and overnight camp logistics. The intern is in constant communication with various office teams, which helps teams find proper resources they need to successful complete projects. Additionally, the intern will work with several databases including but not limited to – Trello, Dropbox, SharePoint, and Shopify. To gain the full DistinXion operational experience, we require our interns to either work two semesters during the school year or one full time summer internship. We also suggest but do not require a spring and summer internship together.

The DistinXion Internship Xperience is comprised of a dual-experience of business development tasks in a professional setting, as well as working DistinXion sport camps. For the summer internship, it is an exciting, busy, fun, challenging, and practical internship will provide you not only with an opportunity to enjoy your summer by traveling and giving back, but also gaining valuable experience in a business atmosphere. The fall and spring internship is a great way to continue to get professional experience while also taking college courses. The DistinXion Internship Xperience tailors to individuals wanting to grow professionally and personally. The internship tests individuals spiritually, mentally, and physically through working on office projects, as well as working at sports camp.
Additionally, all interns will be provided experience in cross-functional roles, giving a well-rounded experience of different aspects of organizational management. Interns will also be provided with leadership training using Gallup Strength Finder, Tim Elmore's Habitudes, Maxwell's Irrefutable Laws and other leadership materials. DistinXion believes in an experiential learning and working environment that focuses on the growth of the individual based on their unique strengths.
