This 8-week internship will give the candidates an in depth experience in the wine and spirits industry, learning about the E&J Gallo Winery and our distributor partners, and Gallo’s Sales Leadership Development Program as a whole. Over the eight weeks the intern will spend a majority of time in the field with sales reps, district sales managers, and various winery personnel including business development managers in retail (liquor & grocery stores) and on-premise (bars & restaurants), luxury specialists, fine wine or spirits managers, our direct to consumer team, shopper marketing team, and senior management from both the winery and our distributor partners. The intern is also assigned a sales-focused project to which they will apply their experience in the field as well as independent research to come up with an innovative and insightful presentation to senior management at the end conclusion of their 8 week internship. Our goal, though not guaranteed is for our interns to receive full time offers at the conclusion of their internship and join our full time Sales Leadership Development Program upon graduation.
