The Aldrich Project is managed through the IU School of Nursing which is focused on substance abuse prevention and mental health promotion in school-age children.
Project Description
Students will work collaboratively with the IU School of Education, IU School of Nursing, IU Dept. of Psychological Brain Sciences, &/or IU School of Social Work to implement an evidence-based substance use prevention and mental health promotion program in elementary schools & middle schools located in Monroe County as well in schools for a few surrounding counties.
Student Responsibilities
The student will implement the evidence-based substance use prevention and mental health promotion program with other interprofessional students in various schools. They may also help with data collection, collation and analysis as needed, or assist with assessing other evidence-based informational needs.
