Responsibilities and Duties

· Coaching and coming along side of clients from intake to discharge, partnering with them to practice new tools, design new ways of living, and maximize their strengths especially as it relates to one’s sobriety and relapse prevention

· Work directly with reentry clients, and begin preparing them for release from incarceration, including but not limited to Drug Court participants

· Regular orientation of new clients

· Assisting clients in planning and accomplishing skills-based goals such as renewing drivers’ license, updating work resume, interviewing for jobs, budgeting, signing up for insurance, and more

· Completing ANSA assessments for clients who participate in the RecoveryWorks program

· Complete BioPsychoSocial assessments for new clients as needed

· Assisting clients in connecting to community resources as needed

· Facilitate life-skill group(s)

· Facilitate the Anger Control and Domestic Violence Rehabilitation specialty groups

· Assist clients in identifying and overcoming barriers to their recovery

· Facilitate family involvement in clients’ recovery, including a potential Family Members Support group

· Communicate effectively with other staff, clients, clinicians, parents or family members of clients, and outside patient providers

  • Display hospitality to guests and clients, exhibiting a willingness to create a meaningful and uniquely better experience for our clients
  • Maintain confidentiality for patients, families and center by abiding by all HIPPA regulations; Follow all other applicable laws including CFR42
  • Exhibit commitment and dedication to practicing ethically and equitably
  • Learn and use company required software, such as Electronic Health/Medical Records
  • Provide training and support to other staff as applicable
  • Know and follow policies and procedures of The Willow Center
  • Display positivity and a willingness to encourage team morale
  • Ability to occasionally assist clients with transportation to/from appointments in Hendricks County using TWC Vehicles
  • Ability to perform other assigned duties/tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

· Must be BIP-certified in the State of Indiana

· Must be comfortable and competent in working with individuals who have experienced complex mental, emotional, or relational trauma

· Preferred: CHS/CRS/PRS Certification in the State of Indiana, or be willing to become certified within first 6 months of hiring

· Must have a drivers license with no record of significance in the State of Indiana

· Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group, and leading small-group dynamics

  • Must have basic knowledge of Motivational Interviewing skills or be willing to be trained within the first 12 months
  • Must be committed to fostering a culture of recovery as clients start their recovery journey
  • Must be committed to a high standard of ethics and equity
  • Must be well organized, be flexible, be patient, and be willing to learn
  • Must participate in and contribute to a team work philosophy
  • Must be energetic, motivated, self-sufficient, creative, and reliable
  • Must complete and pass a full Indiana State Police criminal background check
  • Must possess basic First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to get certified within 6 months of hire
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
