Tell us a bit about the company you interned for:
Safety Resources is located out of Indianapolis. They are a group that has various specialties in every area of construction and general industry. Together they provide a vastly wide range of resources with regards to safety. They are hired by companies to be contracted safety directors for a variety of companies. It is a tight knit group of go-getters with great interpersonal and professional experience.
Tell us about your position during your internship:
Education and job shadowing on a wide range of job sites. Learning the ins and outs of the consulting side of safety.
Tell us about what you’ve most enjoyed about your internship experience:
The people here are wonderful and very talented safety professionals. I enjoyed expanding the knowledge I received at IU and using it in real life scenarios.
What has surprised you most about being an intern?
