As a career services professional in the School of Public Health, I provide career coaching and support to undergraduate and graduate students and alumni. Prior to joining the School of Public Health, I consulted directly with graduate and professional students in the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of student service leadership roles including student recruitment, engagement, experiential learning and career services.
Holding degrees in Music Education and Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska and the University of Wisconsin, I began my career working with talented high school musicians in a nonprofit arts organization, then found my passion guiding college students in career exploration and development, student leadership, and professionalism. I have worked and taught in career services and student affairs from small, private liberal arts settings to large public institutions. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is partnering with students as they discern their values and interests and find meaningful experiences and careers to match. Truly rewarding!
