Career Communities

WHAT IS A CAREER COMMUNITY?

A career community consists of a group of  students who have career interests that fall into a specific occupational category. This model was implemented to provide a more targeted approach to guiding students through the career development process.

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH HAS FOUR CAREER COMMUNITIES IN WHICH TO ENGAGE:

Community Health & Human Services
Health and Life Sciences
Healthcare & Wellness
Sports, Events, Tourism & Recreation

WHAT ARE BENEFITS OF JOINING A CAREER COMMUNITY?

You can meet with a career coach community contact who will guide you through the career development process in a manner that aligns with your career interests. You will be able to take advantage of specialized services, programs, and events customized to meet your specific career development needs.

HOW DO I JOIN A CAREER COMMUNITY?

Visit careers.publichealth.iu.edu to log in and select your preferences and alerts, including the career communities and career topics that interest you most.
